Camera

I purchased a Canon G15 a couple weeks back.  I mainly did it because I was researching celebrities who are straight edge and stumbled upon this guy who own a restaurant in NYC called the meatball shop that is supposed to be awesome.  Anyways, he also sounds like an awesome guy, gave up alcohol  drugs, and cigarettes at 23 and started exercising all the time.  He also said in the article he carries around his Canon G12 with him everywhere, looking for ideas.

Since he's awesome and I want to be like him I purchased a camera too.  I was going to get the G12 but it is discontinued, and there is a new version out called the G15.  I did some research before purchasing (there is also a G1X now which is a higher end version, but doesn't seem to have good reviews).  The reviews for the G12 seemed pretty alright, the main gripe is that it doesn't have an articulating screen like the G12, but I don't really mind, in fact I kind of prefer the non articulating screen because I think I may have ended up breaking the other kind somehow.

I've taken it out a couple times and the pictures have come out really nice.  I'm was actually shocked when I first saw them on a computer because I'm used to just taking photos with my phone.  There is definitely something to be said about taking pictures with a nice digital camera.  Plus it is nice just walking around and taking pictures.  I think it will be a nice hobby to occupy my time.
