Dark Knight Workout
I've been doing this workout for the last week. Apparently this is the workout that Christian Bale did before he filmed the Dark Knight, but the author makes reference to Bale making The Machinst right before doing the Dark Knight, which is completely wrong, he would have had to have done this before Batman Begins.
Anyways, though this isn't 100% accurate, the workout and diet routine are still pretty good for a beginner like me who wants something a bit hardcore to start of with. And Christian Bale has had some pretty crazy weight fluctuations for this films, from American Psycho (fit) to Machinist (scary thin) to Batman Begins (fit) to The Fighter (scary thin) and back to The Dark Knight (fit). Also I just saw a shot of him as a fat bald guy for his new film:
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this guy is going to have a heart attack pretty soon.
Back to the workout, I knew this routine and diet was going to be really hard, but now that I'm a week its been getting better, more manageable. Though I have been crazy sore, the toughest thing has been not eating dinner, I asked a question on reddit about it (my first) and got some interesting responses, but that too, I've ben getting used to.
I'm not going to switch anything up though, its been good to follow through on something and not drinking and doing this diet and exercise should have some great results if I stick with it.
